The style of practice I offer is based on the 8 limbs of yoga of the sage Pantajali and based on the fundamentals of self-inquiry and awareness.
In the practice you may experience but not limited to, postures, movements, breathing, relaxation, and meditation. At times we will explore outside the box and may practice some meditation-in-motion, self-awakening yoga, yoga dancing and deep inquiry allowing Prana (energy) to guide us.
My basic training and great interest is based in the Kripalu style. (see article page). My complimentary and ongoing training includes the Nosara Yoga Interdisciplinary, yoga of deep inquiry and personal inner-quest (link to article), and many others that complement my style of a balance practice. These include, Yoga Therapeutics, Yin yoga, Restorative and more.

Guidelines for practicing safely: 

  • It is recommended to consult your doctor or health care provider before beginning any new exercise program. 
  • Yoga can be healing, energizing, balancing, and relaxing. It is a good practice to incorporate a mix of different practices to create balance in your yoga practice—physical, meditative, restorative, and so on. 
  • As a teacher, I am available to support you and your practice. It is important that YOU take care of your own wellbeing. Should you have any physical or mental conditions or limitations, please let me know so that I can assist you to practice in a way that is safe for you.
  • Yoga is not about achieving anything in particular but more to be aware of where you are at the moment. Always listen to your body. Should you feel you are striving too much, or should you feel fatigue and discomfort, come into child pose and rest until you feel ready to come back to the practice. 

Adaptive Yoga
These classes are designed for individuals living with physical challenges, who may have more difficulty practicing regular yoga poses. You will learn to adapt classical yoga poses to your own needs using props, so that you can experience the pose no matter what your level of physical mobility, and deepen your mind-body awareness. An Adaptive Yoga practice will help to give you:

  • Greater strength, balance, and mobility on both physical and mental levels
  • The ability to move through everyday life with greater physical efficiency
  • Improved management of chronic pain and repetitive strain injury
  • Improved management of stress, anxiety, and depression

Yoga Unwind
Has everyday life got you feeling stiff, drained, and tense? De-stress, centre yourself, and get a healthy stretch at Yoga Unwind. This class combines a gentle series of yoga postures, mindful relaxation, meditation, and deep breathing to clear the mind and stretch the body. Appropriate for all levels.

Yoga for All
This All Levels Hatha course incorporates yoga postures, breathing exercises, stretching, and relaxation. It will help you increase your flexibility and strength, improve your balance, and deal with stress in a positive way. Basic, intermediate, and more advanced variations will be provided, with a focus on breathing and proper alignment.

Hatha FUNdamentals
Hatha FUNdamentals is the place to start your practice when unrolling the mat for the first time. No previous experience is required. This class offers an introduction to the teachings of yoga, those that honour the breath, the body, mind and being. You will be guided through yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), to help bring about the balance of the mind and body. Each pose and its corresponding modification(s) is carefully explained and demonstrated at an introductory level. This class is intended to be accessible to men and women of all ages, regardless of personal levels of fitness, body type. Come master fundamental poses in a class that is inviting, safe and enjoyable!

Kripalu FRANÇAIS - tous niveaux
Cette pratique est conçue pour s'adapter à tous les types de corps, âges, niveau de condition physique et les intérêts.
Un mélange de différentes écoles de yoga en ligne avec les traditions Kripalu suivant le débit du prana (force de vie énergie) pratiquer de compassion, développement du témoin conscience et prendre ce qui est appris, dans la vie quotidienne. Une pratique en prenant en compte l'individualité des personnes et d'expression personnelle plonger dans les racines d'enquête yogique. La pratique classique utilise asanas (postures) pranayama (respiration travail) développement d'un esprit calme.

Self-Awakened Yoga all levels
This practice is designed to adapt to all body types, ages, fitness levels and interests.
A mix of different schools of yoga in line with the Kripalu traditions, following the flow of prana (life-force energy), practicing compassionate self-acceptance, developing witness consciousness (observing the activity of the mind without judgment), and taking what is learned “off the mat” and into daily life. A practice taking into account people’s individuality and personal expression delving into the very roots of yogic inquiry. The practice uses classic asanas (postures) pranayama (breath work) development of a quiet mind and the practice of relaxation.
