My retreat story
I attended the last retreat in October 2015 not knowing what to expect and I was vary nervous.
It was also my first trip anywhere in 5 years. I suffered from sever anxiety, stressed etc. That retreat was the best thing I have done for myself and the best medication I could wish for.
My only other wish was that I could have stayed a couple more days.
The wonderful people, the opportunity for self discovering, relaxation, deeper connection with nature, and delicious vegetarian food are just somethings I loved.
This was a beautiful balance of yoga and meditation. I had a lot of support from my wonderful instructor Jo-Ann D' Alfonso, who is also my yoga therapist.
I returned home a different person it was a truly wonderful experience for me. I'm going to the next retreat still feeling a bit anxious but knowing the great experiences I had the first time uplifts me and gives some confident. I recommend the retreat to everyone even if you are not that experienced in yoga or you are concerned about going somewhere you are not familiar with, it is all safe. If you feel you need a break from life and want to experience the magic of nature, yoga, and meditation, great food and fun, I believe this retreat would be great for you.
